FMA realises that you may not have met the minimum requirements for full membership as laid out above, and have therefore introduced associate membership. This brings all the benefits of full membership with the exception of having the right to vote. Associate membership is designed for people working as practising mediators who for some reason have not been able to meet one or more of our requirements in a particular year. It is not possible to be an associate member for more than 3 years. The cost of associate membership is the same as the cost of full membership.

The fee for becoming an associate member in 2023 is £200.
